Thanks to our friend, (we'll call him "Miguel"), we are able to bring home more than a couple trinkets. I mean, A LOT more. As Colin was thanking "Miguel" (who works for the US military...we'll leave it at that) profusely for doing us such a huge favor, he said "Aw, it's not a big deal, Colin." "Yes, it is, "Miguel". You're enabling us to bring back heirlooms for our children... and their children..."
So, with a full heart, I post a few pictures of the beauts.

| Our favorite Ciseron (renowned Honduran painter) with the Honduran national bird (not really, but roosters worked their way into quite a few of our best memories) |
| A little coffee table made by Guatamaltecos |
| Cypress wine rack |
| We got a couple paintings framed while we were at it (she's making tortillas) |
| Fancy bench--fer sittin' |
one of a pair of nightstands
| All my favorite Honduran jewelry (most of it came from Colin--sweet husband!) |
| And, of course, Dunnivan is our most priceless Honduran treasure! |
| But...he didn't quite fit in a box. |

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your wine rack - you guys have accumulated some beautiful pieces and I'm so happy that you get to keep them forever! Sentimental value is just so much better than Ikea. xo Mavis
