Colin and I have been gathering a collection of photos to remember some of our favorite little oddities here in Tegus. Have a looksie:
![]() |
| A few folks go door-to-door selling mops, brooms, and whatnot cleaning supplies |
![]() |
| This strange alien has managed to stay untouched for at least three years |
![]() |
| The flowers here...WOW. And every month there are new colors! |
| This electrical box is quite a piece of art |
![]() |
| My favorite drink: lemonade with club soda...yum! |
![]() |
| And throughout the city there are still cobblestone streets |
![]() |
| These vibrant flowers are seen all over the walls of houses in our neighborhood |
![]() |
| And Dunn admires the flowers in more ways than one (or maybe just one) |
| Strange vegetables show up at our neighborhood grocery store that not even the grocers can tell me what they are... |

Excellent cross section of photographs of Tegu.
I drove by the alien for the first time the other day. I was so excited I had spotted it. In fact, a little too excited that I almost ran into the on-coming car! Oops!
We could start a game of I Spy in and around the city. Post a picture of something and then see how many people can find it in so many days.
