Are we really here?

I've not had much to comment on this week, but rather plenty on which to complain. So, I didn't want to unload all that on the blog. In the meantime, I was browsing my buddies' blogs and realized how amazing life is...It's nice to see the world of others in the midst of the sludge of your own. People are getting ready to have babies, new music is coming out from good artists, miraculous healing is taking place, and then the random good (and normal) things people share about their lives is blogged. While at first I was a little sketchy about keeping a blog, now I understand how encouraging it can be for the downhearted. Thank you, friends, for blogging about your lives--the good, the bad, and the ugly. We're messy people, but it's wonderful to be a part of your lives--even if it is via the internet.

Currently, we're clinging to the belief that the trials we're facing right now are exactly what we need. Doesn't make the trials really any easier, but to know God uses them for good...I'll take that. I mean, that should be enough, huh? Solo a ti sea la gloria, Senor....
